Visitation will be on Friday, June 23, 2023 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at Zion Lutheran Church in Springfield. Service will be held at the Zion Lutheran Church on Friday, June 23 at 11:00 am. Interment will be at Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Springfield, MN.

Richard Emil Boettger was born on September 18, 1936 to Rudolph and Rose (Krueger) Boettger in Springfield, MN. In 1955 he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force as a helicopter mechanic.

He is survived by his children Roger Boettger of Morgan, Greg Boettger of Springfield, Todd Boettger of Owatonna, and Mark Boettger of Springfield; 8 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
