Thomas Harold Mueller, 76 of New Ulm died peacefully on Sunday, June 4, 2023, at the Oaklawn Rehabilitation Center in Mankato.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 17, 2023, at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home-North Chapel in New Ulm with Father Gerald Meidl officiating. Burial will follow in the Soldier's Rest Section of the New Ulm City Cemetery with Full military honors being provided by the New Ulm Area Comrades of Valor Honor Guard.
Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to the time of service at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home-NORTH Chapel in New Ulm.
Tom is survived by his wife, Jane Mueller of New Ulm; his sons, Brian (Laura) Mueller of Madelia, David (Barbara) Mueller of Hutchinson and Chad Muller of New Ulm; sisters, Kathy (Marlin) Menk of Grand Rapids, Mary (Brian) Martens of Lafayette; 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother Michael Mueller and a nephew Mike Liesenfeld.
Thomas Harold Mueller was born June 21, 1946, in New Ulm to Harold "Red" and Marie (Zupfer) Mueller. He was a 1964 graduate from Cathedral High School in New Ulm. Soon after high school, Tom proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He was united in marriage to Jane Liesenfeld on November 15, 1969, at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New Ulm. This union blessed the couple with 3 sons whom together they raised in New Ulm. Tom enjoyed woodworking, cutting wood, watching the Twins and Vikings and also seeing his grandkids.
