Lawrence L. Sellner
Lawrence L. Sellner, age 90 of Sleepy Eye, MN, died June 7, 2023. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 11, 2023, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM with Parish Prayers at 3:30 PM at Sturm Funeral Home, Sleepy Eye Chapel and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 12, 2023, at 11:00 AM at the Church of the Japanese Martyrs in Leavenworth. Interment will be at Japanese Martyrs Catholic Cemetery. Military Honors will be provided by Sleepy Eye Honor Guard. Sturm Funeral Home, Sleepy Eye Chapel, is assisting the family with arrangements. Lawrence Louis Sellner was born July 17, 1932, on the family farm in Leavenworth Township, Brown County, MN. He was drafted into the US Army. He served for two years, stationed mainly in Germany.
Lawrence is survived by his daughter, Connie Schroepfer of New Ulm; granddaughter, great-grandsons, sister, Elaine Schueler of Sleepy Eye; brothers, Bro. Martinof Manila, Philippines and Jerome of New Ulm.
