Mass of Christian burial will be 11 am on Saturday, June 3, 2023, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in New Ulm and burial will follow in the New Ulm Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 4-7 pm on Friday, June 2, 2023, and continue from 9-10:30 am on Saturday, June 3 at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home-North Chapel in New Ulm.

Danny is survived by his wife Bernice Dietz of New Ulm; his sons, John Dietz of New Ulm, Joe Dietz of New Ulm; his daughter, Sue Dietz of Avon, his 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, his sister, Iris Mathiowetz of Redwing; and other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Daniel George Dietz was born March 28, 1930, in Pierz, Minnesota-Morrison County to Alfred and Catherine (Jutz) Dietz.
