Funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 8, at the American Lutheran Church in Gaylord. Burial will take place at a later date in the Bernadotte Lutheran Cemetery in rural Bernadotte.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, May 7, and continue from 10 to 11 a.m. on Monday, all at the American Lutheran Church in Gaylord.

The Minnesota Valley Funeral Homes of New Ulm are assisting the family with arrangements.

Arlen is survived by his wife, Vicky Anderson of Gaylord; his daughter, Tracy Kehr of Winthrop; his sons, James Anderson of Owatonna and Shane Anderson of Winthrop; 8 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson; his sisters, Sandra Dell of Mankato and Janet Anderson of Elkton, S.D.; and his brother, Gary Anderson of Brookings, S.D.

Arlen Louis Anderson was born Dec. 17, 1954, in Brookings, S.D., to Earl and Sylvia (Johnson) Anderson.
