Visitation will be on Friday, April 14, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Sturm Funeral Home, Comfrey Chapel and will continue on Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Comfrey. The Rosary will begin at 4 pm at the visitation.

Mass of Christian burial will be held at the St. Paul’s Catholic Church on Saturday at 11 a.m. Interment will be at the St. Paul Catholic Cemetery in Comfrey.

She was born in Buckman, MN on December 4, 1919, to John and Theckla Kotten.

Viola is survived by her children – Rita, Carol, Jessica, Peter, Patrick, Daniel, Samuel, Alice, and Randal as well as her brother, Ivan; 27 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
