Ricky was born to Evelyn (Semerud) and Louis Runck July 2, 1964. Throughout his life, he lived in the Fairfax area, where he enjoyed spending time and shooting the breeze with his many friends and family. As a boy, he loved to sing, performing at home and at local talent contests. He belonged to the Cairo Sharpshooters 4-H club, and he spent many happy hours gardening with his mom, riding horse, hanging out at the lake, and hosting the annual klub feed. After graduating from Fairfax High School. Rick found his vocation when he began driving truck. Later he became an over-the-road trucker, who saw what life was like throughout the country from behind the wheel. Most recently, he could be seen locally driving his blue semi with “Hoss” blazed across the front.

Rick is survived by sisters; Sandy (Phil) Edwardson, Bette, and Mary (Doug) Elbert, and by brothers John (Barb), Ron (Shirley), Wally (Iris), and Tom (Brenda). He is also survived by ten nephews, four nieces, many grandnieces and nephews, numerous cousins; and step siblings, Linda (Dan) Turbes, Allen Rieke, Becky (Doug) Sell, Katie (Glen) Seifert.
