Chad Daniel Apitz was born April 18, 1979 in New Ulm to Rick and Kim (Honebrink) Apitz. He attended St. Paul’s Elementary and was a 1997 graduate of Minnesota Valley Lutheran High School. He was baptized and confirmed in his faith at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church. After high school, Chad attended Martin Luther College, Mankato State University, and graduated with a degree in business administration from Bethel University in St. Paul. For 16 years, Chad was employed as an analyst for Target Corporation in Minneapolis. Even though he lived in the heart of the city, Chad had a great love for the outdoors. He rode his bicycle everywhere, putting more miles on his bike than he did on his car. He enjoyed bowling, photography, and was an incredible writer. Music was a true passion of Chad’s. He dedicated much of his time involved in the Minneapolis music scene, changing the outlook of music in the Cities area, and sharing many artists’ gifts on his Ogive Noise website. Chad was a certified Reiki healer and enjoyed his time volunteering with the Twin Cities Paranormal Society. Chad was a kind, compassionate, giving, and deep to the core good person with a unique sense of humor. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Blessed be his memory.
