Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, February 27, at Our Lady of the Prairie Catholic Church in Belle Plaine. Fr. Michael Kaluza will officiate. Visitation will be from 3-6 p.m. on Sunday the 26th at the Kolden Funeral Home in Belle Plaine and continue one hour prior to the service at church on Monday morning.

Randy was born in Mankato on October 19, 1967 to LeRoy and JoAnn (Mrotz) Runge. He grew up in New Ulm and graduated from New Ulm High School in 1986. On June 15, 1991 he married Dawn Higgins at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in New Ulm. They lived in St. Michael where they raised their two children Naython and Nicole.

Randy is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. He is survived by his wife, Dawn, children, Naython Runge of Bozeman, MT, Nicole (Austin) Betz of Howard Lake, MN; siblings, Dawn (Brandon) Klingfus, Renee (Jack) Lenz, and many cousins, nieces & nephews.
