Visitation will be on Saturday, January 21, 2023, from 10 to 11 a.m., at the Lamberton American Legion Hall in Lamberton.

Service will be held at the Lamberton American Legion on Saturday at 11 a m. The clergy will be Pastor Cathy Hoffbeck. Interment will be in the Lamberton Cemetery at a later date.

Linda Mae Arnold was born on March 2, 1947, the daughter of Robert and Phyllis (Ernst) Arnold. Linda has worked various restaurant jobs, including at her mother’s café – Phil’s Café and then worked assembly jobs at Control Data, Artysen, and Zytec. Most recently Linda worked at Royal River Casino at Flandreau, SD and retired from there a few years ago. She enjoyed watching sports, especially the Minnesota Vikings, Minnesota Wild, SDSU Jack Rabbits football and basketball along with NASCAR. She was an active member of the Redwood County Relay for Life for many years. Linda enjoyed flea markets, kittens, and puppies, having coffee and conversations with her many friends in her apartment building, especially Rita and Sammi and also having lengthy phone conversations with family and friends. If Linda got you on the phone, you could expect to be on the phone for over an hour. She was also a lifelong member of the Lamberton American Legion Auxiliary.

She is survived by her brother, Gene (Jeanette) Arnold of Flandreau, SD; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Phyllis Arnold; sister, Ruth Falk; a brother, Dennis Arnold and nieces, great-nieces, and nephews; and many friends.
