Visitation will be on Monday, Dec. 19, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at St. Raphael Catholic Church in Springfield.

Service will be held at the church on Monday at 10:30 am. Interment will be at the Springfield City Cemetery in Springfield.

Arrangements are with the Sturm Funeral Home in Springfield (www.sturmfh.com).

Joyce Elaine Armstrong was born April 2, 1928 at the home of her parents, Wesley and Trudella (Lindersmith) Armstrong of Comfrey.

Survivors include daughters, Mona Goodermont, Eden Prairie, Meri Schumacher, Comfrey; Marci Heerman, Long Lake and Maxine Meine, Springfield; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Memorials preferred to St. John Circle of Care, Springfield Public Library and St. Raphael’s Church.
