Service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church-Madelia, on Saturday, Dec. 17, at 2 p.m. Interment will be at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Madelia.

Ardis Irene (Pierson) Mikkelson, the daughter of Elmer and Clara (Haukvik) Pierson, was born on Feb. 5, 1929 around St. James.

Ardis is survived by her children, Linda Trullinger of Redwood Falls, Larry Mikkelson of Hanska and Lance Mikkelson of St. James; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother, Gerald Pierson of New Ulm and sisters, Donna Ahlness of New Ulm and Shirley Brudelie of Hanska.
