June Martha Milbrett was born Feb. 17, 1937 to Alton and Martha (Frank) Wellner in New Ulm. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church and attended New Ulm Public High School in New Ulm. On July 21, 1953, June was united in marriage to Fred Milbrett at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Ulm. Their union was blessed with four children, all of whom were raised on the family farm in Milford Township. In addition to being a mother, June worked at Herberger’s in sales, helped Fred on the farm, and worked at various other jobs throughout her life. In her free time, June helped with the Ladies Aid at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, played cards with friends, and spent as much time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren as she could. She especially enjoyed all the times she was able to go fishing with Fred and her family. She will be dearly missed by those that knew her. Blessed be her memory.
