Born July 11, 1939 in New Ulm to Ivan and Esther (Heagle) Stone. Attended school at Lake Hanska Township, Holy Trinity High School, University of Minnesota, College of St Thomas and graduated with certificate from Brown Institute in Minneapolis. He spent his career working for the U of M Hospital Department of Radiology. He enjoyed sailing with his wife Angie on Lake Pepin and putting many miles on his Winnebago traveling all over the United States. Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Angie; son, Charles; parents; brother, Terence; sister, Kathleen Jutz. Survived by son, Joseph; daughter, Denise (Joshua) McCofferty; sisters, Mary Anne (Eugene) Stifter, Judith Stone and Margaret (Don) Bardot; brother, Jack. Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m., Monday Nov. 14, 2022 at St. Odilia Catholic Church, 3495 N. Victoria St., Shoreview (visitation 10-11 a.m.). Burial at St. Wenceslaus Cemetery, New Prague, MN. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Our Lady of Peace Hospice, or Guild Incorporated preferred.
