Elizabeth A. “Betty” (Lamecker) Benson

Age 98, of Brooklyn Center, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2022. Betty enjoyed sewing, gardening, puzzles, and was a great lover of dogs. She was a longtime Honeywell employee. She grew up on the Lamecker farm on the outskirts of New Ulm. Preceded in death by husband, Rudolph; parents, Tony and Tilly Lamecker; brothers, Stanley (Oleda), Roman (Lucilla) and Leo (Delores). She is survived by son, Gregory; daughter, Susan (Keith) Nelson; grandson, Eric; many nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Wed., Nov. 9 at the Church of St. Raphael, 7301 Bass Lake Rd, Crystal, with visitation one hour prior to Mass. Interment Fort Snelling. Memorials are preferred to the Church of St. Raphael.
