Michael (Mike) Lynn Kral
Mike Kral passed away peacefully on September 13, 2022, at the age of 72 at home in Tulare, CA. Even at the end, his strong, stubborn personality stayed true. Mike was born in New Ulm, MN, on June 7, 1950, and grew up helping his family on their farm. Mike attended New Ulm Public Schools, graduating in 1968. At the age of 18, he joined the Navy and served in Vietnam. He then moved to central California where he met Sandra Vasquez and fell in love. They married in 1988, blending and expanding their family. Mike was a hard working, kind, honest man. He enjoyed traveling the United States, being with family and was always fixing something. He was truly a jack of all trades.
Mike is survived by his wife Sandra and children Joe Vasquez, Christine (David) Isaac, Cipriana Kral, Mica (Sean) Maddox; grandchildren Hope, Coen, Fate, Dane; brothers Brian Kral, John (Dawn) Kral; sisters Patricia (Robert) Kaiser, Kay Seifert, Jane (Tim) Knaak; brother-in-law Charlie (Alma) Vasquez; sisters-in-law Elizabeth Vasquez, Lucy (Ray) Zodrow, Gloria (Steven) Davis, Margaret Casares; and nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents Hilarius and Arlene Kral, brother Bruce Kral, brothers-in-law Richard Seifert, Peter Vasquez and Joe Casares.
Mike will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him. Blessed be his memory. Visitation will be Sept. 26 at Peers-Lorentzen Chapel, 132 West Kern Avenue, Tulare, CA. Funeral service will be Tuesday, Sept. 27 at 10 a.m. at St. Rita’s Catholic Church, 954 South O Street, Tulare, CA.
