Visitation will be on 5-8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 23, at the Sturm Funeral Home-St. James Chapel (sturmfh.com) and will continue Saturday from 10-11 a.m. at the Hosanna Free Lutheran Church in St. James.

Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, at the Hosanna Free Lutheran Church. Interment will be at the Albion Lutheran Cemetery in rural St. James. Arrangements are with the Sturm Funeral Home in St. James Minnesota.

Mae Vivian (Askeland) Brekken was born Dec. 2,1921 in Watonwan County to Christian and Minnie (Thuestad) Askeland. She married Adolph Brekken on Dec. 20,1945. at LaSalle Lutheran Church. She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Hanson, and son, Keith Brekken.
