Mary Ann Falk

“Along her journey she gathered family and friends, drawn by her open heart and keen mind. Now her home is in our hearts.”

It is with gratitude and love we honor Mary Ann Falk, who quietly passed away on Aug. 3, 2022, at the age of 86.

She was born on Nov. 13, 1935, and graduated from Gibbon High School in 1954. She met Ralph Falk at a dance at the Gibbon Ballroom, and they were married in 1955. They made their home in New Ulm and had three children, Ann, Lynda and David. MaryAnn retired from 3M in 1997.

She had many laughs and escapades with friends, countless shopping/lunch days with her sister-in-law and was a fierce Phase 10 player.

Mary Ann looked forward to spring, summer and fall, when she would spend her time up at the cabin on Townline Lake in Longville. Winter meant decorating for the holidays — she loved all things Christmas.

She liked all German food, EJ Brandy, white wine and anything sweet. She loved watching birds at the bird feeder, hearing the call of loons on the lake and happy hour on the deck with her cabin neighbors.

She will be remembered for her sharp fashion sense, her warm heart and her ability to laugh at all jokes.

She dearly loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and will be missed by her family and friends.

MaryAnn requested a casual celebration of life.

Join us to celebrate a wonderful woman and a beautiful mother on Sept. 9, 2022, 4-7 p.m. at Hermann Heights Park, Pavilion 1.
