Shirley Mae (Harder) Wendinger, age 75, passed away peacefully on Aug. 18, 2022, in New Ulm.
A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.

Shirley is survived by her husband of 56 years, Gary; children, Mark, Michael (Stacie) of Prior Lake and James of Hutchinson; and grandchildren, Austin, Logan and Mackenzie.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernie and Arline Harder; sister, Mavis Fenske; and brother, Marvel Harder.
Shirley was born on Aug. 22, 1946, in Sleepy Eye to Ernie and Arline (Speckman) Harder. She grew up in Sleepy Eye and graduated from Sleepy Eye Public Schools in 1964. On June 4, 1966, Shirley was united in marriage to Gary Wendinger at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New Ulm. Early in life, she started her career at 3M. Shirley was later employed at QMC and then New Ulm Public Schools until her retirement. Shirley enjoyed spending time at the family lake cabin, spending time in the kitchen, her dogs and especially her grandchildren.
