Karen M. Krueger

Karen M. Krueger, age 79, of Comfrey, Minnesota, died on July 25, 2022, at New Ulm Medical Center.

Visitation will be on Friday, July 29, 2022, from 9-11 a.m. at the New Hope Lutheran Church in Comfrey.

Service will be held at the church on Friday at 11:00 a.m.

The clergy will be John Hopper.

Karen was born on June15, 1943, to William and Eva (Braford) Frank in International Falls, Minnesota. Her family consisted of three brothers, Billy, Don and Jerry; and two sisters, Janet and Linda. She attended International Falls High School and graduated in 1961. On Jan. 18, 1964, Karen was united in marriage to Duane Rodger Krueger. The couple raised one son, Norman. International Falls was home until her and Duane moved to Comfrey in 2011. Karen was very artistically gifted and worked as a floral designer and arranger. She had a passion to create scrapbooks photo albums, and greeting cards. Karen was overjoyed to pass her greeting card passions onto Raegan. Karen loved her hobbies but most of all loved spending time with her family. While living in Comfrey Karen was a member of the New Hope Lutheran Church where she served on the Mission Committee.

She is survived by husband, Duane; son, Norman (Andrea) Krueger; grandchildren, Colin (Amanda) and Raegan; brother, Jerry (Yvonne) Frank; and sisters, Janet Oliverson and Linda (Don) Mulkey. Karen was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Billy and Don Frank.
