Visitation will be on Saturday, July 30, from 10-11 a.m. at the Jeffers Baptist Church.

A service will be held at the church 11 a.m. Saturday. Interment will be at the Jeffers City Cemetery.

Arrangements are with the Sturm Funeral Home (sturmfh.com) in Comfrey.

Arlene Carter was born on August 3, 1929, to Dennis and Edith (Hagerman) Amsden in Cottonwood County. On June 29, 1948, Arlene was united in marriage to Donald Carter.

She is survived by her daughter, Diane Olson of Comfrey.
