New Ulm Police

Received a two-vehicle, injury crash report at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at 20th Street South and German Street. A Subaru Legacy driven by Jasmine T. Widmer, 17, Courtland, was eastbound when it rear-ended a Honda driven by Julie A. Untiedt, 64, New Ulm. Widmer’s airbag deployed and caused minor facial injuries. Two juvenile passengers in the Widmer vehicle had minor injuries. Both drivers wore seat belts. Widmer’s vehicle was demolished with major front end damage. Untiedt’s vehicle was drivable.

Sibley County Sheriff

Received a two-vehicle crash report without apparent injuries at the intersection of 351st Avenue and 170th Street, about two miles northeast of Green Isle, in Washington Lake Township, at 4:41 p.m. Wednesday. A 2014 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Bruce Kranz, 37, Hamburg, was on 351st Avenue when it collided with a 2008 Dodge Caravan driven by David Rice, 45, Hamburg, that was on 170th St. Both vehicles were demolished.

Nicollet County Sheriff

Received a one-vehicle rollover crash report with serious injuries on 376th Street, just west of 615th Avenue at about 11 a.m., Wednesday. A tractor driven by a man who’s name has not yet been released, was pulling a manure spreader that pushed the tractor into a ditch. The manure spreader jack-knifed the tractor, causing it to roll on its side. The driver was transported to the New Ulm Medical Center with serious injuries. The Nicollet County Sheriff’s Office, Lafayette Ambulance, Gibbon and Lafayette Fire Departments and Affordable Towing assisted with the crash that remains under investigation.
