Aug. 31

Tracy L. Dallenbach, 44, Morton, appeared at a Bail Hearing on charges including Fifth Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance and Third Degree DWI. Bail was set at $250 cash or $2,500. bond. If the defendant posts bail, she is required to have no use or possession of alcohol or drugs and participate in the Sibley County Color Wheel Drug Testing Program. Her next court appearance is scheduled for September 22 at 9 a.m.

Dale E. Leighton, 34, Cleveland, appeared at a Bail Hearing on charges including Fifth Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance and Fourth Degree DWI. The Court released him on his own recognizance, but ordered that he have no use or possession of alcohol or drugs and participates in the Sibley County Color Wheel Drug Testing Program. His next court appearance is scheduled for September 22 at 9 a.m.

Bradley M. Moses, 29, Gaylord, appeared at a Bail Hearing after being arrested on allegations that he violated the terms of his probation on an underlying offense of Interference with an Emergency Call. Bail was set at $1,500 cash or $15,000 bond. If he posts bail he is ordered to not use or possess alcohol or drugs and participate in the Sibley County Color Wheel Drug Testing Program. His next court appearance is scheduled for Sept. 1 at 11 a.m.

Bruce A. Prigge, Jr., 23, Gibbon, appeared at a Bail Hearing on charges including Second Degree DWI. Bail was set at $12,000 cash or bond. Alternatively, the Court ordered that he could be released to electronic alcohol monitoring on condition that he not use or possess alcohol or drugs and otherwise be subject to random testing. His next court appearance is scheduled for Sept. 1 at 11 a.m.

Aug. 30

Jaden M. Albrecht, 23, Stewart, appeared at an Omnibus Hearing on charges of Third Degree DWI and Careless Driving. He pled guilty to Third Degree DWI. The other charge was dismissed. The Court convicted the defendant of the offense and placed him on probation to Court Services for two years with the following conditions: 1. That he serve two days in the Sibley County Jail followed by 28 days on electronic home monitoring with the Alco sensor component; 2. That he get a chemical use assessment and follow all recommendations; 3. That he have no use or possession of alcohol or drugs and be subject to random testing at the request of law enforcement or probation; 4. That he attend a Victim Impact Panel; 5. That he remain law abiding and follow all general conditions of probation; and 6. That he pay restitution in the amount of $371.06 to Sibley County Public Works. The Court ordered the defendant to pay a $400.00 fine plus an $85.00 surcharge.

Jarrod P. Scott, 23, of Winthrop, appeared at an Omnibus Hearing on a charge of Felony Theft. The defendant pled guilty to the offense. The Court ordered a pre-sentence investigation and scheduled a Sentencing Hearing for Nov. 3, at 1 p.m.

Tesa J. Sifuentes, 20, Gaylord, appeared for an Admit/Deny Hearing on allegations that he violated the terms of his probation on an underlying offense of Conspiracy to Sell a Controlled Substance in the Second Degree. She admitted to violating the terms of her probation. The Court scheduled a Disposition Hearing for September 15, 20016 at 11:00 a.m. Pending that hearing the defendant will be held in the Sibley County Jail without bail.

Cameron D. Schmandt, 19, Stewart, appeared for a First Appearance on a charge of Third Degree Assault. The Court released the defendant on his own recognizance, but ordered that he have not contact with the alleged victim. His next court appearance is scheduled for September 29 at 1 p.m.

Michael A. Ibarra, 21, Winthrop, appeared for an Admit/Deny Hearing on allegations that he violated the terms of his probation on an underlying offense of Fifth Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance. He entered a denial to the offense. The Court scheduled a Settlement Conference for Nov. 17 at 1 p.m. Pending that hearing, the defendant’s conditions of probation will act as his conditions of release.

Aug. 18

Zachary R. Rose, 23, Winthrop, appeared in Sibley County District Court for a Rule 8 Hearing on charges of Fifth Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Stolen Property. He requested a Omnibus Hearing, which the court scheduled for Sept. 22 at 1 p.m. Pending that hearing, he was released on the same conditions of release as previously ordered, including not using or possessing alcohol or drugs and being subject to random testing at the request of law enforcement.

Sebastian Sanchez, 22, Gaylord, appeared in Sibley County District Court for an Admit/Deny Hearing on allegations that he violated the terms of his probation on an underlying offense of Second Degree DWI. He admitted to violating the terms of his probation. The Court reinstated the defendant on probation with the same terms and conditions as previously ordered, but with the additional requirements that the defendant get a chemical use assessment within 30 days and serve 56 days on electronic home monitoring with the Alco sensor component.
