Received a hit-and-run accident report at 12:52 p.m. Friday at 1609 S. Broadway. A 2014 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Randy Wohferd was legally parked between two buildings when the vehicle noticed the rear driver side and bumper were damaged by an unknown vehicle. Damage was moderate. No witnesses were available.

Received a report of an accident at Jacobs Street near Westridge Road at about 5 p.m.

Alan Ralph Boettger, 68, of 926 N. Valley Street, was making a right turn out of a parking lot, according to police. While turning, Boettger said he thought he saw a funnel cloud. He drove onto a meridian barrier and struck a street sign in the median. There was minor damage to his driver side headlight area.
