New Ulm Police * Received multiple calls is loud explosions heard at New Ulm Steel & Recycling at 10:12 a.m. Wednesday. No injuries or damage reported. A report went to New Ulm City Hall. * Cited a 16-year-old New Ulm male for a trespass notice violation involving a 20-year-old New Ulm female after a verbal domestic report at 12:53 a.m. on 15th Street South.

Sibley County Sheriff’s Office • Responded to a two-vehicle rollover crash without reported injuries at 2:18 p.m. Nov. 22 near the intersection of 521st Avenue (CR 4) and 330th Street (CR 8), Alfsborg Township. Riley Holton, 33, Mora, was driving a 2021 Freightliner box truck westbound on 330th Street when he collided with a 2004 Mazda Tribute driven northbound on 521st by Eliud Munoz, 18, St. Peter. Damage was heavy to the Mazda, minimal to the Freightliner. Lafayette Ambulance and the Minnesota State Patrol assisted.

New Ulm Police * Took a disturbance report on Spring Street North at 12:26 a.m. Saturday. A 34-year-old New Ulm woman said she was assaulted by a 33-year-old man who lives with her. The woman had minor injuries. The man was arrested and transported to the Brown County Jail. Reports went to the Brown County Attorney's Office and Brown County Probation. * Took a theft report at Kwik Trip at 1:06 a.m. Saturday involving a 21-year-old Becker female. New Ulm Police • Responded to a one-vehicle crash without reported injuries at 7th North and German Street at 3:06 p.m. Nov. 15. Richard John Johnson, 77, New Ulm, was driving a 2008 Jeep Liberty pulling a trailer southbound on German Street, stopped at 7th North. Johnson turned right to go west, the trailer detached, struck the Jeep, causing it to hit the median. Vehicle damage was moderate disabling.
