New Ulm Police • Took a report of two people running in and out of South Broadway traffic at 1:16 p.m. Monday. It appeared a man was chasing a woman who ran into St. Mary’s Church. Officers located a 38-year-old Council Bluffs, Ia. Woman in the church. She had a Le Sueur County warrant for a probation violation. She was arrested and transported to the Brown County Jail. A 43-year-old Mankato man was also located. New Ulm Police • Took a report at 4:32 p.m Friday from a 63-year-old New Ulm man who said he was assaulted by a 76-year-old New Ulm woman who brought packages to his apartment and allegedly hit him in the face, breaking his glasses. The woman denied a physical assault occurred. No injuries were detected. A report went to the New Ulm City Attorney’s Office for review. • Stopped a vehicle for expired registration at 12:55 a.m. Saturday. Impairment signs were detected on the driver, a 24-year-old Franklin man. Four marijuana packages were found. The driver passed field sobriety ...
