New Ulm Police • Responded to a two-vehicle crash at 7th and Minnesota St. at 11:55 a.m. Wednesday. A 2025 Subaru Outback driven by Jade Marie Gleisner, 37, New Ulm, was eastbound on 7th South and collided with a 2001 GMC Sonoma driven by Steven Bruce Engelby, 67, New Ulm, who was southbound on Minnesota St. and failed to stop for a stop sign. The woman poured barbecue sauce on items causing more than $1,800 damage. A report for damage to property went to the New Ulm City Attorney’s Office. • Stopped a vehicle for speeding at 12:15 a.m. Monday at Broadway and Center St. Officers noticed vehicle occupants appeared to be hiding something. New Ulm Police • Responded to a two-vehicle crash without injuries at 7:44 a.m. Friday at 10th South and Broadway. A 2013 Ford Taurus driven by Nessa Peters, 21, New Ulm, was backing out of a driveway near the intersection and collided with a 2015 Ford F150 driven by James Kline, 39, New Ulm. Both drivers wore seat belts and were not injured. Damage was moderate-functional to the rear end of the Taurus and minor to the rear passenger side of the Ford F150. • Received a forged check report at 11 a.m. Friday of a San Diego man writing a $901 check to himself at a local bank. New Ulm Police • Arrested a 24-year-old Fairfax woman on the 600 block, N. Broadway at 5:29 p.m. Tuesday on a Redwood County warrant. The woman was transported to the Brown County Jail. A report was done for documentation.
