Sibley County Sheriff’s Office • Received a report Aug. 10 of a dog stolen in rural Henderson that had been missing since Aug. 7. It was learned through a nearby neighbor that the dog was sighted in a FedEx truck. An investigation located the truck driver. The dog was taken into custody and reunited with its owner. A report was submitted to the Sibley County Attorney’s Office for charge consideration. Mankato Public Safety assisted. New Ulm Police • Responded to a two-vehicle crash without injuries at Highway 14 and Garden Street at 7:03 p.m. Monday. A 1994 Peterbilt driven by Jonathan Kuck, 54, New Ulm, was turning right from Garden Street eastbound on Highway 14 when he struck the side of a 2007 Buick driven by David Christiansen, 77, New Ulm, who was eastbound on Highway 14. Damage was moderate to the left front side of the Buick. New Ulm Police • Received a theft report of an American flag and flag pole stolen from the Post 132 American Legion Club, 13 S. Minnesota at 11:38 a.m. Friday. The flag was valued at $19. A report was done for documentation. • Received a report of a fight between an 11-year-old New Ulm boy and 14-year-old New Ulm girl at the Brown County Fair at 4:04 pm. Saturday. Six juveniles were asked to leave the fairgrounds and not return during the fair. A parent of one of the girls transported her daughter to New Ulm Medical Center.
