WINTHROP-- A 45-year-old woman is in custody following reports of possible gunshot heard from the 300 block of South Redwood Street in Winthrop. The incident began at 5:20 a.m. Friday as a noise complaint. Sibley County Sheriff’s Office received a complaint of loud music coming from a residence on the 300 block of South Redwood Street in Winthrop. Around 7 a.m., additional calls were made to authorities reporting possible gunshots in the same area. A report was done for documentation. • Received a dog bite report at 11:54 a.m. Wednesday where a three-year-old was bitten in the left cheek by a dachshund. Online medical services were received. New Ulm Police • Took a call at 6 p.m. Monday from a 31-year-old New Ulm woman who said a man she has a Domestic Abuse No Contact Order (DANCO) against was in a prohibited distance from her current location. Officers arrived, met the man, who was 23 and homeless, arrested him and transported him to the Brown County Jail.
