New Ulm Police • Received a theft report at Walmart at 3:04 p.m. Thursday. A 23-year-old Gibbon man was on video surveillance. He is suspected of taking $327.25 worth of merchandise twice on June 29 and once on July 6, July 19, July 27, Aug. 3 and Aug. 9. A report went to the New Ulm City Attorney’s Office for charge consideration.

New Ulm Police • Received a report at 2:26 p.m. Wednesday about a caller who claimed to be from the Brown County Sheriff’s Office. The caller hung up when they were told the person they called was a judge. A report was done for documentation. • Received a report of a black lab/mix and bulldog dog fighting at the New Ulm Dog Park at 3:07 p.m. Wednesday. One dog owner said their dog has bitten. Sibley County Sheriff’s Office • Received a report Aug. 10 of a dog stolen in rural Henderson that had been missing since Aug. 7. It was learned through a nearby neighbor that the dog was sighted in a FedEx truck. An investigation located the truck driver. The dog was taken into custody and reunited with its owner. A report was submitted to the Sibley County Attorney’s Office for charge consideration. Mankato Public Safety assisted.
