The man said he thought he was buying gold and moved money from a savings account to a Burnsville coin and collectible store but the money never made it to the store because it was intercepted by scammers. WINTHROP-- A 45-year-old woman is in custody following reports of possible gunshot heard from the 300 block of South Redwood Street in Winthrop. The incident began at 5:20 a.m. Friday as a noise complaint. Sibley County Sheriff’s Office received a complaint of loud music coming from a residence on the 300 block of South Redwood Street in Winthrop. Around 7 a.m., additional calls were made to authorities reporting possible gunshots in the same area.
