New Ulm Police • Responded to a two-vehicle crash with minor injuries at Broadway and 17th Street South Friday. A 2004 Chevrolet Impala driven by Jason Scott Wills, 52, Gibbon, was southbound on Broadway, turned left into McDonald’s and collided with a northbound 2015 Chrysler Town & Country driven by Brittany Anne Johnson, 34, New Ulm. Damage was severe to both vehicles. New Ulm Police • Responded to a two-vehicle crash with minor injuries at Broadway and 17th Street South Friday. A 2004 Chevrolet Impala driven by Jason Scott Wills, 52, Gibbon, was southbound on Broadway, turned left into McDonald’s and collided with a northbound 2015 Chrysler Town & Country driven by Brittany Anne Johnson, 34, New Ulm. Damage was severe to both vehicles. Both drivers and a passenger in the Chevy had minor injuries.

New Ulm Police • Performed a welfare check on an intoxicated 63-year-old New Ulm man at 5:40 pm. Thursday. The man was found to be unable to care for himself. He was transported to New Ulm Medical Center for what appeared to be a head injury. A report went to Brown County Human Services. • Received a theft report at 5 a.m. Friday involving an unlocked vehicle on the 1000 block of Franklin Street South. According to video surveillance, it appeared nothing was taken. Police are waiting for video footage they will review. A report was done for documentation.

He was transported to New Ulm Medical Center for what appeared to be a head injury. A report went to Brown County Human Services. • Received a theft report at 5 a.m. Friday involving an unlocked vehicle on the 1000 block of Franklin Street South. According to video surveillance, it appeared nothing was taken. Police are waiting for video footage they will review. A report was done for documentation.

A report for consideration of attempting to escape tax by changing license tabs, no insurance and driving after cancellation on a 62-year-old Madelia man went to the New Ulm City Attorney’s Office. • Stopped a vehicle driven by a 34-year-old New Ulm woman for erratic driving at Broadway and 7th Street South at 9:18 a.m. Thursday. She was cited for misdemeanor driving after revocation.
