New Ulm Police Department
• Police responded to a call Wednesday at 5:03 p.m. from a 44-year-old New Ulm man who said that a 41-year-old New Ulm man had been posting threatening videos on social media that were seemingly directed at him. The caller has a restraining order against the man. Report sent to City Attorney considering threats of violence and violation of restraining order.
• At 11:38 p.m. Wednesday officers responded to a suspicious vehicle parked by a trailer at Oakwood Estates. A 41-year-old New Ulm man was in the vehicle and showed signs of impairment. He was arrested and taken to Brown County jail. Report to City Attorney considering 3rd degree DWI charges.
• Thursday at 10:46 a.m. a 65-year-old New Ulm woman admitted to a theft she was involved with during her employment with Kwik Trip. The reported theft was for $448.30 in money, chamber dollars, and cigarettes. Citation for theft issued.
Sleepy Eye Police Department
• At 10:54 p.m. Wednesday, police responded to a verbal domestic call on the 600 block of SW and Walnut Street. A verbal dispute between a 27-year-old Sleepy Eye man and a 25-year-old Sleepy Eye woman occurred. Parties were separated. Report sent to Brown County.
