New Ulm Police Department

• At 8:44 a.m. September 29, Samantha Erickson, 23, New Ulm, was driving a 2016 Buick Encore on 7th North and Minnesota Street when she turned onto a median and struck a rock due to distraction. No injuries occurred. The vehicle was towed with moderate damage.

• At 11:12 a.m. September 29, a three vehicle crashed occurred on 9th North Street and Highland Avenue. A 2000 GMC 1500 driven by a 17-year-old New Ulm man was struck after the 2010 Nissan Frontier driven by a 16-year-old New Ulm man was hit from behind by a 1976 Chevy Custom driven by a 17-year-old New Ulm man. No injuries occurred. Minor vehicle damages, none resulting in towing.

• Police stopped a vehicle near County Road 25 and 145th Avenue 12:05 a.m. Sunday for suspicious activity. A 35-year-old New Ulm woman showed signs of impairment. During the stop, officers learned of two felony warrants for her arrest. She was transported to detox. Report to City Attorney.

• Sunday at 12:18 a.m. police responded to a report from the south Kwik Trip that a man was intoxicated. The 41-year-old Gaylord man refused to provide a breath sample and is on probation with a restriction to consume alcohol. Report sent to his Department of Corrections agent.
