New Ulm Police
• A 27-year-old man told police Wednesday afternoon that his neighbor, a 41-year-old New Ulm man, posted a video stating "he was going to kill him." Reports were sent to the Brown County Attorney's Office for consideration of threats of violence charges and to probation.
• Assisted Brown County Probation in the arrest of a 28-year-old New Ulm man for a probation violation Wednesday. The man consumed alcohol which he was prohibited from doing, and was transported to the Brown County Jail. A report went to Brown County Probation.
• A 57-year-old woman and her 17-year-old son told police about a blackmail scam Wednesday. The boy shared nude photos of himself on Telegram and made $350 in Apple Pay payments to the scammer to stop photos from being shared. A report is under investigation.
