New Ulm Police

• Responded to the Colonial Inn, 1227 N. Broadway at 1:40 p.m. Tuesday for a 35-year-old New Ulm woman suffering from a mental health crisis. The woman told police things were not going well with a man she was sharing a hotel room with. Police contacted a Mankato crisis center about coming to the Brown County Law Enforcement Center to transported the woman to safe housing in Mankato. A report went to Brown County Human Services.

• Stopped a vehicle for suspicious activity at 6:11 p.m. Tuesday at Broadway and 20th Street South. The driver, a 31-year-old Marshall man did not possess a valid driver's license. His driving privileges were cancelled -Inimical to Public Safety. He was arrested and transported to the Brown County Jail. A report went to the New Ulm City Attorney's Office for consideration of gross misdemeanor driving after cancellation-IPS.
