New Ulm Police
• An 82-year-old New Ulm woman told police at 3 p.m. Friday that a caller claimed to be her internet provider and found child pornography assisted with her internet address. The caller said the woman would get a call from the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). The woman said she gave out her Social Security, credit card, bank account and bank routing numbers to an individual she thought was an FTC agent. A report went to investigations.
• Took a vandalism report from a 19-year-old New Ulm male regarding a vehicle door handle ripped off on the 1300 block of Jefferson Street North at 8:28 p.m. Friday. The male said he believes the incident as caused by two individuals who don't like him. Police talked to a 17-year-old New Ulm girl and 15-year-old New Ulm boy who both denied being responsible for it. Damage was estimated at $150.
• Responded to a disturbance at the Microtel Inn & Suites on the 400 block, 20th Street South at 11:04 p.m. Friday. Police arrived and noticed underage individuals consuming and in possession of alcohol. A 20-year-old New Ulm female was cited. A report was done for documentation.
