Vesta man killed in motorcycle accident
REDWOOD COUNTY – A 48-year-old man from was killed in a motorcycle accident Saturday near the intersection of County State Aid Highway 46 and County State Aid Highway 8.
Redwood County Sheriffs were dispatched to the intersection at 4:24 p.m. Saturday following a report of an accident involving a single motorcycle. The rider was later identified as Craig Michael Baune of Vesta, MN.
Redwood County Sheriff’s believed Baune lost control on the curve, went into a ditch where he struck a road sign.
The sheriff’s office was assisted by MN State Patorl, Centra Care Ambulance, Vesta Fire department, Vesta First Responders and the Wood Lake Fire Department.
