New Ulm Police
• Received a forged check report in the amount of $4,766.98 at West Point Dairy Products, 315 N. Broadway at 3:54 p.m. Thursday. Police continue to investigate the incident.
• Received a theft report at 6:21 p.m. Thursday on the 1300 block Jefferson Street North involving motor vehicle tampering. The 15-year-old juvenile male was caught by the vehicle owner inside a vehicle without permission. A cell phone valued at $50 was reported taken but was later recovered. A report went to the Brown County Attorney’s Office.
• Responded to a juvenile trouble report at 6:54 p.m. Thursday on the 300 block, Front Street North involving a juvenile male who got into an altercation with his mother, left the residence and later returned. A report went to Brown County Human Services.
• Received a burglary report on the 400 block, 9th Street North at 12:59 a.m. Friday. A 17-year-old female said white blinds were found on the ground under an open window when she arrived home. No items were reported missing. The female will contact neighbors for possible video surveillance footage. A report was done for documentation.
