New Ulm Police
• Received an email fraud report at 3:28 p.m. Tuesday from a 74-year-old New Ulm man who said he sent $200 from his PayPal account to a recipient he thought was the FBI. A report was done for documentation.
• Received a disturbance call at 10:40 p.m. Tuesday about a group home disturbance on the 900 block, Washington St. North involving 19-year-old and 22-year-old New Ulm males. Police said items were thrown about the residence and doors and sheetrock were damaged. No damage estimate was available. No charges are sought. A report was done for documentation.
• Responded to a domestic call on the 900 block of South Broadway at 12:54 p.m. Wednesday. A 80-year-old New Ulm man appeared to have a mental health crisis and was transported by police to New Ulm Medical Center and put on a mental health hold. A report was done for Brown County Human Services.
Sibley County Sheriff’s Office
• Responded to a semi tractor rollover at 2:21 a.m. Wednesday on 336th Street, near 405th Avenue, Kelso Township. Sergio Barron, 44, Olivia, was driving a 2007 Kenworth westbound on 336th Street, slid on snow and ice on a curve and rolled onto the driver’s side in the ditch. Vehicle damage was heavy, disabling. Five Star Towing assisted.
