New Ulm Police

• An individual reported finding a severely damaged laptop computer on her property at New Ulm Mobile Village at 7:07 p.m. Saturday. A sticker indicated the laptop was New Ulm Public School property. The school resource officer learned the laptop belonged to a 16-year-old New Ulm student. The school had an agreement with students that they are responsible for all damages. A report was done for documentation.

• Police were called at 1:04 a.m. Sunday about an intoxicated, 42-year-old New Ulm man lying on the ground near Minnesota St. and 4th North. The man was transported to detox. A report was done for documentation.

• Officers received a call Sunday afternoon from a man who said he believed his two daughters got into a physical altercation while driving home to Mankato. Police found the two sisters, age 17 and 18, both of Mankato, parked on the side of the road. The 17-year-old was bleeding from the face. The 18-year-old admitted she and her sister were arguing over the use of a cell phone charger in the car and where they were going to eat. The 18-year-old admitted to hitting her sister in the face. The parents arrived and picked up both girls. A report went to the New Ulm City Attorney’s Office for review.
