Brown County Sheriff’s Office

• Cited a 22-year-old New Ulm male for driving without a motorcycle endorsement at CR 13 and 223rd St., Cottonwood Township at 5:55 p.m. Tuesday. He braked to avoid turkeys on CR 13 and put down a 2018 Harley Davidson motorcycle. He had road rash to his elbow, knee and back but declined medical attention. A report was done for documentation.

• Responded to a domestic call at 6:29 p.m. Monday on Gray St. W., Comfrey. A 43-year-old Comfrey man was found to be having possible mental health issues. A report went to Brown County Human Services.

New Ulm Police

• Responded to a Walmart for a theft report at 6:19 p.m. Monday. A 42-year-old St. Paul man rolled a cartload of items through an emergency exit door and fled in a pickup truck. The suspect has a driver’s license cancelled IPS and Order For Protection to have no contact with a juvenile who was with him. A 15-year-old St. Paul girl is also a suspect. A report went to the New Ulm City Attorney’s Office.

• Responded to a parking complaint at 3:21 p.m. Tuesday at 1022 German St. S. An abandoned vehicle with 2 doors missing was towed to the city impound lot. A report was done for documentation.

• Received an animal complaint at 6:34 p.m. Tuesday from an individual who said they were walking a dog in an alley behind the 600 block of Minnesota St. S. when a loose Rotweiller dog bit the dog. The complainant took their dog to a veterinarian and the dog later died of puncture wounds. A report went to the animal control officer and New Ulm City Attorney’s Office.
