New Ulm Police

• Received a theft report at Walmart at 7:43 p.m. Thursday. A Gibbon man is suspected of taking $664.50 worth of miscellaneous items, according to store surveillance video. A report went to the Brown County Attorney’s Office.

Minnesota State Patrol

• Responded to a one-vehicle crash at 5:19 p.m. Wednesday in Madelia Township, Watonwan County. Vincent Ray Haala, 26, Lucan, was driving a 2007 Harley Davidson Cruiser motorcycle eastbound on Highway 60, lost control and left the road. He did not wear a helmet. He was transported to Madelia Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Madelia Ambulance, Fire and Police and the Watonwan County Sheriff’s Office assisted. Alcohol was not involved.

• Responded to a two-vehicle crash at 3:02 pm. Tuesday in Morgan Township, Redwood County. A 1999 Ford Econoline motor home driven by Marilyn Kay Lacourse, 77, Springfield, was southbound on CR 13 when it collided with a 2007 Kenworth tractor trailer driven eastbound on TH 67 by Sergio Salazar Barron, 26, Cadereyta, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. Both drivers wore seat belts but were transported to Redwood Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Alcohol was not involved. The Redwood County Sheriff’s Office, Lower Sioux and Morgan Police, Centracare Ambulance and Morgan Fire/Ambulance assisted.
