Brown County Sheriff’s Office

• Received a theft report at 7:23 p.m. Monday from a Cottonwood Township resident who said computer USB drives were stolen sometime in the last week. A value estimate was not available. No forced entry was reported. A report went to the Brown County Attorney’s Office.

New Ulm Police

• Stopped a vehicle for poor driving at 10:49 p.m. Monday at State Street and 2nd St. N. A 38-year-old New Ulm woman displayed impairment signs and failed field sobriety tests but was under the legal blood alcohol limit. A drug recognition evaluation arrived and performed field sobriety tests. A search warrant was obtained for the driver’s urine sample. The woman was transported to the Brown County Jail on a safety hold. After urine tests are obtained, a report copy will go to the city attorney’s office.

• A 25-year-old New Ulm woman reported finding a camera and microphone in apartment vents on the 500 block of N. Broadway at 9:45 a.m. Monday. Officers took possession of a device known as a hidden nanny camera with a micro card inside. A report for privacy interference went to the Brown County Attorney’s Office.

• Received a burglary report at 10:25 p.m. Sunday at the 500 block, Garden St. N. A resident said they heard someone walking around. Nothing was reported missing or out of order. A report was done for documentation.

• Received a theft report of a shopping cart missing from the garage area at 8:07 p.m. Sunday at Garden Terrace on North Garden St. The cart was valued at $68.52. A report was done for documentation.

• Officers noticed at 2:52 p.m. Saturday that a police squad car was keyed. A damage estimate was not available. A report was done for documentation.

• A 31-year-old New Ulm woman reported being harassed by a 56-year-old New Ulm woman at Broadway Haus Apartments, 300 N. Broadway at 2:25 p.m. Friday. A report was sent to Brown County Human Services.

• Received a call at 4:36 p.m. Friday from the daughter of a 63-year-old New Ulm woman who said her parents on 6th St. S. were having an argument. The woman voluntarily went to New Ulm Medical Center for an assessment. Reports went to Brown and Carver

County Human Services

• Received a report at 5:52 p.m. Friday of a 52-year-old New Ulm woman pounding on doors of the Heart of Jesus building on the 500 block of North State St. The woman was found to be intoxicated and later found at Smiley’s Tavern. She was arrested on a probation violation and transported to the Brown County Jail. A report went to Brown County Probation.

• Received a report at 7:42 p.m. Friday from a 33-year-old New Ulm woman who said they got harassing text messages in Spanish from someone they didn’t know. A report was done for documentation.

Sibley County Sheriff’s Office

• Responded to a one-vehicle rollover crash on 196th Street, about a mile west of New Auburn at 5:44 a.m. Sunday. Keith Weber, 40, New Auburn, was driving a 1996 Chevy S10 pickup westbound on 196th St., left the road and rolled on its roof. Weber was not injured. New Auburn Fire and Rescue and Allina Ambulance assisted.
