New Ulm Police

• Took a report of a stolen 2005 Ford F350 flatbed work truck at 1:24 p.m. Wednesday from Puhlmann Lumber & Design, 301 1st St. S. The truck has a flatbed hoist, number two painted on both front side panels and a green Puhlmann Lumber & Design logo on each side. The theft happened between midnight and 7 a.m. Dec. 30. The truck was entered as stolen with the Minnesota Department of Motor Vehicles.

• Stopped a vehicle for speeding at 1:36 p.m. Tuesday at 19th St. N. and Front St. The vehicle’s license tabs didn’t match the stopped vehicle. A report was sent to the Brown County Attorney’s Office for speeding and intent to escape tax.

Brown County Sheriff’s Office

• Received a crash report at 6:32 p.m. Tuesday near CR 25/CR 11, Sigel Township. Gloria Nachreiner, 70, Sleepy Eye, was driving a 2022 Ford Edge that collided with a deer in the traffic lane. No injuries or vehicle tow reported.

• Received a report of a suspected trespasser near CR 24 and 170th Avenue, Sigel Township at 12:35 p.m. Wednesday. No damage reported. No property reported missing. A report was done for documentation.
