Sheriff’s Office

• Received a car-deer crash report without injuries at CR 13 and CR 6, Lake Hanska Township at 3:07 p.m. Dec. 11. A 2014 Chevy Equinox driven by Elizabeth Jeurissen, 46, St. James, collided with a deer. No further information was available.

• Issued an Harassment Restraining Order to a 31-year-old Redwood Falls man regarding a 29-year-old Springfield man at 14 State St. S. at 5:13 p.m. Dec. 11.

• Served a Nicollet County warrant to a 22-year-old New Ulm man at Kwik Trip, 1521 Broadway at 1:15 a.m. Sunday. The man was not arrested because Nicollet County would not accept him because he has COVID.

New Ulm Police

• Responded to a disturbance call at 12:30 a.m. Sunday at 1st St. N. and State St. A 28-year-old Gaylord woman and a 27-year-old New Ulm were reported yelling and screaming, trying to get into a white, GMC Acadia SUV. Reports were sent to Brown County Human Services.

• Responded to a domestic assault call at 7:54 p.m. Friday on N. Franklin St. involving a 25-year-old New Ulm woman and a 27-year-old New Ulm man. The woman allegedly punched the man in the face, causing minor injuries. Reports were sent to the New Ulm City Attorney’s Office and Brown County Human Services.

• Responded to a two-vehicle crash without reported injuries at 13th South and Minnesota St. at 9:52 p.m. Nov. 28. A 2010 Ford Fusion driven by Mackenzie Kjelshus, 25, New Ulm, was northbound on S. Minnesota St., approaching the 13th St. S. intersection when an eastbound 2015 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Morgan Blackstad, 18, Hanska, pulled in front the Ford, Damage was moderate to severe to the front of the Ford and minor to the right side of the Silverado. Both drivers wore seat belts.
