NEW ULM -- The Two Rivers Community Orchestra (TRCO) will begin its Spring Season practice on Sunday, Jan. 30, from 5-6:30 p.m. at Oakwood United Methodist Church, 1630 Oakwood Ave, New Ulm. The concert for the Spring Season will take place on Sunday, April 3, at 7 p.m.
TRCO encourages any interested string players to join the season. Those interested can come to the first practice and learn more about the literature picked for the season. Please contact TRCO at tworiversorchestra@gmail.com with additional questions and to sign up.
TRCO's vision is to establish a committed, core group of community musicians from the south-central area of Minnesota to perform in the orchestra. TRCO emphasizes the continued musical growth of its members and performs representative literature from all genres and time periods of music.
This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Prairie Lakes Regional Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
