ST. PAUL — State Sen. Gary Dahms (R-Redwood Falls) was presented with a Guardian of Small Business Award last week by the National Federation of Independent Business.
“Now more than ever, Main Street needs strong advocates in the Minnesota Legislature, and they have one in Sen. Gary Dahms,” said John Reynolds, NFIB Minnesota state director. “Dahms earned the NFIB Guardian of Small Business Award by working tirelessly for small business over the last two years. From championing lower healthcare costs to cutting payroll taxes, Sen. Dahms has the back of small businesses in Minnesota.”
“I am grateful to receive this award for my strong support of our small businesses,” Dahms said. “Our small businesses are essential in helping make our communities thrive. I will continue to stand strong for our small businesses by listening to our small business owners about their needs to make it easier for them to create jobs and grow.”
Minnesota lawmakers who consistently voted with small business during the 2021-22 legislative session earned the NFIB Guardian of Small Business Award.
