In a ribbon cutting ceremony this month, The Employee Ownership Network (EON) presented a newly remodeled space and new staff. EON CEO Ric Nelson says in the seven years he has been with the company they have increased demand and increased care needs for their clients. They have almost doubled their companies profit profile and continue to reinvest in the communities that they serve. The building had not been updated in a long time and the remodel now better suits their needs. EON currently has group homes and other community resident programs in New Ulm, Bemidji and Mankato. They currently have staff of more than 300 and do training to fit the needs of the clients. EON is an employee owned company. The company model is an ESOP, the longer and more time individuals invest with the company the longer term benefit the employees will have.
