NEW ULM — The Willkommen Committee of the New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce met with Johnathan Hammerschmidt, owner and photographer of Jon Carter Photography, a new business in town. Jon purchased his first camera in 2016 and did a sport photo shoot for New Ulm Senior High. After this, things really seemed to take off. In no time at all Jon was asked to take senior pictures, photos and videos at weddings and some smaller marketing projects. His customers are his best advertisers, he has built his reputation and business on word of mouth. You may know some of Jon Carter Photography’s work from the Chamber of Commerce videos, Modenschau, Retz 227, AMPI and even Schell’s Brewery. Jon’s real passion is marketing and setting businesses up for success. Photography and videography can propel businesses in new and exciting directions and Jon wants to be a part of that. Jon received some of his training from South Central College in Mankato and he is capable of almost anything when it comes to photography.
